December Reflection
Closing the Year with Intention
As we prepare to close out 2025, we find ourselves both grateful and grounded. This year brought meaningful shifts at HueLife: expanding our faculty and partnerships, deepening our global work with young leaders and communities, and continuing to evolve how we support leadership in complex, loosely coupled systems. We experimented, learned, let go of what no longer served us, and leaned more fully into our purpose: creating spaces where human understanding, engagement, and shared leadership can thrive.
Before we turn the page to a new year, we invite you, our partners, colleagues, and friends to pause and reflect with us. Join us for our final Community of Practice of the year on December 23rd. Bring your favorite afternoon beverage, settle in, and take part in a simple yet powerful Word of the Year reflection—an exercise you can later use with your family, teams, or community. Together, we’ll honor what 2025 has taught us and intentionally close the year with clarity, gratitude, and connection.
The HUE Conversation Method fosters inclusive discussions by engaging diverse thinking styles, leading to better team decisions and results. It offers a structured approach to help teams overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
A two-day intensive program that equips leaders with the frameworks, language, and facilitation skills to turn strategic plans into organizational reality—especially in loosely coupled systems where implementation is complex.
Our free monthly Community of Practice is where we continually learn from one another to improve facilitation skills by exploring real-life situations and sharing lessons learned.
Forget the pressure of New Year's resolutions that fizzle out by February. This year, try something different: choose a single word that will guide your intentions and shape your mindset throughout 2026.
Our Word of the Year Exercise helps you reflect on where you've been and clarify where you want to go, all distilled into a single, powerful word. It's simple, meaningful, and works.

This year, we are deeply grateful for our continued partnership with Eloiza Altoro, whose vision and commitment are helping make the HUE Strategy Cohort possible in Milwaukee. Eloiza first joined HueLife as a participant in the ToP® Facilitation Methods course two years ago. Since then, our relationship has grown into a shared commitment to strengthening nonprofit leadership across the Greater Milwaukee area.
Eloiza believes deeply in cohort learning as a catalyst for sustainable change, creating spaces where nonprofit leaders can step out of isolation, learn alongside peers, and build the capacity to lead adaptively in complex environments. Through her leadership, Non-Profit Management Fund and its partners are investing not just in individual organizations, but in the broader ecosystem that supports community well-being. Her leadership reflects a long-term view: that when nonprofit leaders are supported, connected, and equipped with leadership tools, their impact multiplies across the communities they serve.
In 2026, Eloiza is joining our faculty for non-profit leadership development. Our first adventure is taking us to Sedona, where we will be co-hosting a Transformational Leadership Retreat with the support of local partners.

Supporting Nonprofits Through Pro Bono Facilitation
As part of our mission to advance human understanding and engagement,
HueLife contributed over $100K volunteer hours in support of a learning cohort of 10 nonprofit organizations in the Greater Milwaukee area. Through the Milwaukee HUE Strategy Cohort, we are coordinating strategic matches between these nonprofits and trained volunteer facilitators who are offering their services pro bono - bringing structure, clarity, and inclusive processes to organizations doing essential community work.
The nonprofits participating in this cohort represent a wide range of missions, each addressing critical needs within the Milwaukee community. By pairing them with skilled facilitators and providing a shared learning framework, we aim to strengthen their strategic capacity, support healthier leadership practices, and help these organizations navigate change with greater confidence and collaboration.
The potential impact reaches far beyond the cohort itself: stronger nonprofit leaders mean more resilient organizations, more effective programs, and deeper, more sustainable community outcomes. We are honored to walk alongside these nonprofits and facilitators, and grateful for the collective generosity of time, expertise, and commitment that makes this work possible.
