Mission Update
Message From Our CEO
As we approach the close of 2024, I find myself reflecting deeply on the transformations we've experienced—not only within HueLife but also in the broader, ever-changing world around us. Chaos and uncertainty seem to dominate our global landscape, yet it is in these moments that the power of facilitation shines the brightest. It is a reminder of the vital work we do to foster human understanding and engagement—work that becomes even more essential as we look ahead to 2025.
At HueLife, we, too, have been transforming. Over the past year, we evolved from a 10-person team to a small but mighty group of four. This transformation has brought us closer to our values and more deeply aligned with our mission. I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together.
Flower, as our new Community Engagement Director, has made a remarkable impact in a short time. Her creativity and drive have led to the development of our first-ever catalog of courses, programs, and services—a testament to her talent and dedication.
Megan has reached new heights in her journey, stepping into the role of Mentor ToP Trainer. Her compassionate leadership and nurturing approach have elevated our training experiences, instilling confidence and empowering others.
Richard's journey is going deeper into understanding the human journey. He will be focusing on book writing and developing the young leaders of Ukraine. Richard's unique blend of humor and life insights continue to inspire and draw people in.
Each member of our team has brought their unique gifts to the table, and together, we’ve created something truly special. The feedback and results from 2024 fuel us with optimism and hope for a brighter future. Looking to 2025, we are excited to welcome new partners and collaborators who will further strengthen our mission. Stay tuned for more about our extended team in January’s update.
In the meantime, I invite you to reflect on your own journey in 2024. What lessons have you learned? What transformation have you experienced? To help guide your reflection, our newsletter includes a pro-tip for finding your word for the year. My word for 2025 is LIFE—a reminder to embrace the vitality, resilience, and beauty in every moment.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Together, let’s step into the new year with courage, purpose, and hope.
Warm wishes, Irina Fursman CEO, HueLife

This month, will welcome Gerald Gomani as our guest speaker and discuss the anticipations for the 9th Global Conference on Human Development in Zimbabwe 2025. Gerald will also share how he uses ToP Methods in his work. The conference will also include a Youth Conference where young people from around the world, including Ukraine and Minnesota, will learn ToP Methods and work to identify the role of youth in the dimension of human development.
You've probably seen exercises like this floating around social media, but have you ever approached end-of-year reflections and future planning using facilitation tools? It's pretty powerful.
This annual word-of-the-year exercise can help you reflect on your values, intentions, and hopes for the new year. Think of it as the anti-resolution resolution. Instead of setting a specific goal, choose a word that captures the mindset you want to adopt in 2025 — a word that will nudge you toward positive change whenever you think of it. A North Star of sorts. We are happy to share this exercise and worksheet with you and hope you enjoy it.
Once you are done, share your word of the year with us via email or tag us on social media. We can't wait to hear all of the inspiration for 2025! We'll make sure to share our words in January.

Most of our mission updates are connected to ur work with Ukraine through our partner non-profit Global Synergy Group and the YouLEAD program. But did you know that beyond our Ukraine work, every year HueLife donates a portion of our profits to an organization that aligns with our mission of action for the greater good? This year, we will be contributing to Hurricane Helene recovery efforts in Asheville, NC. Our hearts are with the victims of Helene this holiday season. Read more about who we partnered with in Asheville in our January newsletter.
Below are organizations that we have supported in the past. We encourage you to learn more about them.
